Thousands of movies are released each year. Are you watching them all?
Bewarned that the mobile Firefox app is really not great.
- I am a chronic tab-user (I have more than a hundred open right now. Yes I'm using pretty much all of them.) and 70% of the time when hitting the tab button it doesn't actually scroll to the most recent tab. I have to tap it repeatedly to get to where I was.
- The tab list is horribly wasteful when it comes to space and I see no way to change it.
- Some sites also shit the bed completely when auto-filling from my password manager. Like full on freeze the browser or crash it entirely.
- When an app opens Firefox in an embedded browser to get you to log in, it will pretty much never direct you back to the app after putting your information in. You have to tap the three dots and open it in the actual app for even a chance that it will properly redirect you.
- For 2fa sometimes this doesn't even work. I have to scan my 2fa key then quickly open it in the actual app through the menu before it finishes loading, otherwise it doesn't redirect or gets stuck in a login loop. Fun.
The browser is fine overall, don't get me wrong, there's just some inconveniences that aren't getting fixed.
I remember when there was a huge amount of complaints when Reddit updated and the top posts started cycling multiple times per day (or per hour) instead of hanging around most of the day
I was stuck on a problem for six months, and after figuring that out I banged it out in an afternoon. If anything you get stuck for even longer
You adding views to some random video absolutely does not offset the cost of your usage through ads. Ads can make a surprising amount of money for a platform (upwards of 4 or 5 dollars a month per free user). Based on YouTube removing premium Lite, I think it's actually very safe to assume that the consumption of free users is around that, so approximately $7 per month on average. Do you honestly think this would offset that cost in any universe?
It's okay to want stuff for free. Just make sure you fully understand the consequences and don't try to play it off like you're the good guy.
Not in the slightest unfortunately. Often customers don't even know what customers want, and the subgroup that actually responds to these aren't necessarily "average"
If the alternative is 1/4 or 1/5 voting, then it is a "win." Every step in the right direction is a win.
so if you are under 35, honestly, this story isn’t for you
I realize it's supposed to be a joke, but just reminding you not to take this at face value. Friends of mine making 60k a year have afforded a house just fine through my state's first time home buyer's program (guaranteed a loan on your first home at low rates and little down), and I'm likely buying one next year. It's not all doom and gloom.
I've driven a few over the last year and haven't personally had any issues at all with it specifically
I pay for Sync and Telegram. Telegram doesn't even have ads, I just want to throw money at the things that provide me entertainment and value on a daily basis. Just because you don't like to pay for things doesn't mean you should project that mindset onto other people.
... They literally offered to pay. But that price has to be reasonable, and should come with more than 30 days notice.
It performs significantly better than existing formats what are you talking about
