I think until anyone in government sees consequences of their actions then nothing will change. If it's used against them, maybe they'll help legislate against it

Finally I can buy one

I've been holding off on getting a steam deck since I wanted to get their second version rather than being a beta tester for the first

Gen z is notoriously tech illiterate for anything but the bare minimum. The amount that have never touched a PC or anything other than an iPhone is incredibly disturbing.

Rust used to be correct in 2014 when this was made. It's pretty fucking good, now

I'm a pretty senior dev and have chat gpt open for quick searches. It's great for helping me figure out what to Google in the cases where I can't think of the name of a pattern or type I'm looking for. It also helps quite a bit with learning about obscure functions and keywords in SQL that I can do more research on

Hell, I use Copilot daily. Its auto complete is top-tier

GA collects very limited information by default. You have to go pretty far out of your way to give Google usernames, posts, etc for ad purposes. It's likely the only thing they received was a device identifier generated specifically for the new install of the app. You're fine.

Considering a ton of people left Reddit due to shit mobile apps, most people probably won't even see it since it wouldn't be visible there

Invisible captchas are about as useful as graphical ones and are significantly less annoying to the end user
