Is it true the Bluetooth network stack is larger than the WiFi network stack? If so, why? I don't know much about BT besides pairing, allowing calls and audio in/out, transferring files, and.. is there more? It takes a day of reading documentation to understand all the advanced options on my ASUS router interface, and that's without anything proprietary.
I'm just surprised and curious and never got a satisfying answer.
Survivor bias and and an ad all in one post!
When I see posts like this it gets my glowie senses tingling.
Unfortunately it's election season in the US, so any sources of conversation will be overtaken by bad actors. That means any politics subs, news subs, and especially US Politics subs. A whitelist could work but it would take a lot of work and make a lot of users mad, they tried on Reddit for a few subs and the list of allowed sites was huge. Then you also have people asking, can Fox News be blacklisted? And if it's not, the propagandists will shift their strategy from fake websites to websites with low integrity like Fox and make the article fit their 'opinion'... It's a neverending cat and mouse game where the only strategy that works is well-trained moderators, and only if the bots (read: bot farms, humans) aren't vying for a mod position as soon as it opens, which they will be.
Is that better or worse than giving advertisers the data point that you're high-tech knowledgable and browse personal accounts from a server in a datacenter?
ROTFLMFAO!!!!
They're just smartphone apps as a way to interact with Lemmy, versus visiting it in a browser. If you mostly use Lemmy on desktop, search 'lemmy frontend' for other options.
I don't see how the CA doctors are in any way colonizing anything.
They're not. At least not in the majority rational view. That's just some old mad folks in the Catholic church thinking so and feeling the need to say something.
There's actually a LOT of interesting info on the article..For example they ban Facebook from giving info to law enforcement from other states about Cali related abortion pill mail/doctors even if it's a legitimate judge signed subpoena. I believe that covers investigations including conversations between two individuals about getting an abortion. California is really saying "Get fucked Texas and similar states. We The People say so."
ALL OF THEM! DIDN'T YOU READ?!
screenshots of Sony’s internal log-in page, an internal PowerPoint presentation outlining test bench details, several Java files, and a document tree of the entire leak housing 6,000 files.
Within those 6,000 files are supposedly a bevy of documentation, including unknown “build log files,” a swath of Java resources, and HTML data. Many of the files are reportedly in Japanese.
ALL. THE. SYSHTEHMS! Sony is doomed!!!1!!
Do not envy because an ally is more clever than you, for he simply played tic-tac-toe more recently. Instead, learn the art of XXX.
It was a horrific situation and yes he is but as the commenter above was right that they have (or had maybe) diplomatic immunity. I'm not sure how all-encompassing diplomatic immunity is but I know it wasn't an issue when a guard with diplomatic immunity punched a reporter directly outside the White House during a White House press conference a few years back (iirc). They just revoked the diplomatic immunity status of that specific guard or guards.
When countries try to keep peace and nukes exist, sometimes things get messy and go without consequence, very unfortunate. I forget what else there is about the Saudi-America exchange, I'm not an expert in diplomatic affairs by any means, but I think any retaliation could lead to $20 gallons of gas and I think they might also own a significantly large percentage of our GDP debt. Do not quote me or take that as fact because I may very well be mixing up countries and information.
Good stuff. Not thought about enough. GPS spoofing random routes also.
