I follow closely what is happening in the US from France because even though we have a very different culture I still think US politics is a preview of what's to come here.

Right now I consider we are at the step where our media are crumbling and becoming unable to properly inform us. A step that has been reached a couple of years ago in the US in my opinion.

The next step will probably be our own coup attempt in a few years and a steady increase in the division of the country and far right movements.

Is it possible that this password was really your gf's password in the past ? It could have leaked long ago and the hacker just decided to use a previously leaked pass to be more inconspicuous.

I don't think this whole story is so wild, it could be just coincidental. The hacker knew somehow about her DOB and thought this would be an easy password.

Rest assured a hacker wouldn't want to use their own password or reuse even one as that could link to previous nefarious activity. So they had to set up a brand new password just to move forward. So they set up anything personal they could get their hands on.

PS: you should check haveIbeenPwned for the address of your gf.

Apple definitely has that kind of practices too.

Louis Rossman probably has a 40+ MN long rant on this somewhere on his channel.

Edit: Only a 20+ Mn long rant... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV4_mLw2BGM&t=1

Management at Blizzard changing the game direction every other day, acting like headless chickens.

  • Maybe our few remaining players would like to play an RTS game within OW

  • Ok boss, reassigning all devs to this work

< Two months later >

  • It appears our RTS mode for Overwatch didn't resonate with our competitive FPS playerbase

That's too bad, maybe they want a flight simulator mode ? Or a fishing sim like mode, that would definitely resonate with players

What a bunch of idiots without any common sense. Leadership positions for the worst people.

On the other hand I heard so many times the same argument for 144hz, 165hz and then 240hz....

Now 1000Hz is much higher frequency but in term of frame time it's not that far. I wouldn't be surprised if some people could successfully tell the difference in a "blind" test.

Bof.

Highly recommend to do "news breaks".

I really feel better since I started avoiding the news. I just read the headlines of some notifications on my phone and it's enough for me.

I feel almost as great as when I ditched Facebook a long time ago.

Makes you realize how heavy the news can be to moral.

Like the recent headlines about subsidized oil being very much a thing now. This is so very deeply disturbing I just can't handle it. And I just read the headline I can't even imagine reading a full article explaining to me that we are getting worse for climate change. We indeed are accelerating toward the cliff.

Still, I feel still so much more relaxed not watching the news on any kind of video platform.

Try it.

I dip a tampon in THC oil and insert it in my anus. Learned it on fox news.

Unfortunately, this is inspired from a real stupid thing some young people did but with alcool. Goes too fast in their bloodstream and some supposedly ended up in a coma.

Doubt there is any hole evading the porn industry.

There is probably some website dedicated to tiny holes near the ears.
