I remember one time I ran out of deodorant and had to use my wife's. The whole day at work every now and again I'd catch a whiff of myself and my lizard brain would shriek WOMAN!!! until I realised it was just me.
I moved to the states in 2005, got married, had 2 daughters. Moved us all back to my home country in 2015. I often wondered if it was the right decision and what life would have been like if we'd stayed. I haven't wondered even once since November last year.
Unfortunately, being able to just leave the country is a luxury that few people have.
I’d love to see him spiral during a blunder-filled campaign. I’ll love to see all the byproducts, like an Eric scandal manufactured to make Jr look better by comparison. I want the quicksand of their fickle, mob of an electorate to engulf this family>
Isn't this what we were all thinking in 2016?
And then you live your life one quarter mile at a time...
Is it though?
I didn't want to be the one to say it... But yeah, I've known some downright scary lesbian women.
They'll make protesting illegal before it changes their minds. Hope you're all planning for that.
Oh boy, go to the states and hurt yourself and go into a hospital. Or try being unemployed for 6 months. Or go to uni without millionaire parents. What we get for our taxes has gotten significantly worse in my lifetime, and the LNP are working on bringing us into line with the states, but trust me, we get a shitload more for our tax money than they do.
The left in the US needed to do something similar to redmap, basically take over the party from the ground up. Field leftist candidates in every position at every level. School boards, dog catchers, literally everything all the way up to president. maga started this decades ago, and it's why they have so many people in influential positions now. The left got outsmarted, outmanoeuvred, and beaten to the punch. And it's quite likely too late for them to do anything about it politically as the US political system doesn't look like it's going to survive much longer.
It's just another one of the millions of little ways Americans get screwed. I lived in the US for quite a few years and it was a shitshow. Here in Australia, the government provides a portal for filing your taxes (and pretty much all government services - just a single portal). All your info is pre-filled, you just add any additional undeclared income or deductions you want and submit. Unless you're dealing with millions of dollars, the whole process takes 10 minutes.
Awww, and I was sure that this was going to be the year my paycheck finally did more than keep me alive until the next one...
A public bitchfight between the two least credible dipshits in the world? I'm here for it!
