I've never even seen one in practical use in Dubai. The most I've seen are prototypes of lab designs.

This is a public forum. The only relation this has to politics is the appearance of a famous politician in relation to a famous cartoon character with the same name as him. This doesn't promote may ideas whatsoever.

It seems like due to the downfall of Twitter and Reddit, people will be moving to the Fediverse instead, and since there is not much here, people won't be addicted to it anymore.

Additionally, it's open-source and de-centralized as well, which omits censorship. What do you guys think?

Won't it be confusing? Are there plans to merge both of them together?

Every year, it rains a lot in West Bengal at this time of the year. However, it's not raining as much as it used to. Is it the same for other areas as well, except for Tamil Nadu of course?

[-] TheSmartDude@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

When I'm awake at late-night, I sometimes hear children laughing in the corridors of my apartment.

It sounds similar to how it does in the day, which means that it's neither quiet enough for me to not hear, nor loud enough to disturb me.

Usually, it's only for a minute or two, and I can ignore it if I want to, since it doesn't scare me that much.
