However, if you count Merrick Garland as a "Democrat", he should have moved on Trump immediately after he left power. Instead, he sat on it. That was the first delay, and Judge Canon was the last. The people on strike are the administrative staff for the NEA that is hosting the conference, and they have thanked him for "respecting our picket line and upholding union values!"

The revised agenda for his trip has not been announced, but that's hardly surprising with everything involved in last minute planning of a presidential visit. It's almost certain though that he will meet with the union.

Do a poll asking Americans their political alignment and the balance will be center right. Poll them again on specific issues and the average end up well to the left of the Democratic party. For a prime example, look at how all the abortion referendums have turned out in red states.

You would be surprised how many on the left own guns and know how to use them. Also, while military membership leans conservative, they do not tend to like Trump.

From what I know of history, they seem pretty Christian to me.

For all the carnage that's happened and all the carnage that's about to happen, we need to (rhetorically) beat the neoliberals over the head for the 2020 primary.
