Is this just a way to get his mail delivered to his cell, since An Post won't come to his house any more?

I liked "O"(2001) more than most High School dramas.

How would you rate Romeo+Juliet(1996), production, rip off, or homage?

No deer? Our lilies rarely last more than a day before they become salad on the hoof.

I always look forward to the torpedo hydrangeas and the sheer variety of bees they bring.

He mostly uses the scratching post, having been trained pretty well by his brother and us. This was the middle of a play session.

Since he likes my wife better than me, I like to make fun of him on the Internet.

Everything @_danny@Lemmy.World said is fair.

I would add, as someone who read "The Lightning Tree" but not recently, it is recognizable as the same story with quite a bit added. It's a nice novella and I like Rothfuss's turn of phrase, but it doesn't have the meat of the main story or the whimsy of "Slow Regard of Silent Things"

Also it is a little weird that the author's note starts with "You might not want to buy this book", of course I got it out of the library so I guess I can't complain.

I went to Pulp Fiction 3 times on opening weekend.

That was a good weekend.

Swiss-German is a pretty good secret language.

Perhaps more useful is to silently make your mouth into an "o" like you're saying "go" if you want to go, or a line like you're saying "stay" if you want to stay.

I don't care if it gets me banned, give me Harriman Gray or give me death of personality.

I've slept on one for 20+ years and they really work for me and my wife. Our current one is a platform bed with a futon matress from https://www.thefutonshop.com we got it in 2015 and it has lasted well. I'm sure there are other nice ones available.

If you need to fold it into a couch get one that folds in the direction that you lie in which keeps the lumps under control. If you don't need to fold it, you can get a thicker mattress which will still be very firm.

If you sleep in it all the time, flip it over every month or two. Alternate between flipping it long ways and sideways.

Get a frame, even being a couple of inches off the floor gives it some air.

The biggest minus for me is that I'm so used to it all hotel/guest beds are too soft now.

We have one in our guest room too and have gotten more compliments than complaints FWIW.
