I've actively avoided reading the Brian Herbert stuff because I tried to read a Kevin J. Anderson book once and it nearly gave me an aneurysm.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but if you really don't know, Google up the best reviews of "Cats 2019" and delight in the glorious train wreck. Some of the better quotations include: "Will haunt viewers for generations." and "To assess Cats as good or bad feels like the entirely wrong axis on which to see it. It is, with all affection, a monstrosity."

Just don't actually watch the movie.

Logitech G604 is my current mouse and it seems to have broken the trend of every-single-past-Logitech-mouse-I've-owned developing double clicks in a year or two. It's been at least three years now without issue. A single AA lasts a disturbingly long time with daily use.

Both of those things may be true, but have you seen Zootopia? The sloth who works in the DMV? That joke falls flat here because Korean DMVs are notoriously fast, efficient, and staffed by competent, courteous people.

Luggage.

You don't want to be repacking your shit while late a for a flight because you're a kg over the limit and it's gonna cost an extra $100 if you don't and mistakenly rip the zipper off your carry-on. You really, really don't.

You don't have to completely break the bank either, but if you value your sanity, I wouldn't spend too much less than $200 on a carry-on/check-in pair.

I'm using a Leopold FC900R with blues (click-thock forever!) that I got a few years back. It's a full sized, 104 key, no RGB, no bells and whistles type deal. I got a really good deal on one (~$80 USD), but I'm in Korea where they're made, so YMMV. I honestly don't know what the back plate is made of, but it is quite heavy. 1.2 kgs (2.6 lbs) according to this place.

Ahh, context of the original "Don't go to bed angry." would have made this a little more obvious. I was thinking it had something to do with people believing that going to bed angry over something was somehow physically bad for you.

The thumbnail for this image was much more appealing than the image...

Funny how caffeine for me causes headaches, and for you prevents them. I used to get bad migraines (the throwing-up-painful kind) when I was young. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

They're expensive because a good one lasts forever. We've had our Gaggia Classic for over ten years now and it daily chugs out coffee like the day we bought it.

I run Ubuntu at work where we have an Epson printer. My print jobs are mysteriously canceled ~50% of the time, and wouldn't work at all throughout Ubuntu 20.10 and only started intermittently working with 22.10. (They were mysteriously quite reliable with 18.10.) Looking around on the Ubuntu forums, I was hardly alone. None of the posted fixes worked for my case, and seemed unreliable for others as well. A cursory Internet search shows me that printing problems are endemic to Linux and have been for a long time.

We don't have a Windows machine to compare, but the Mac on the front desk prints 100% of the time without fail barring paper jam or something else that is the fault of the printer.
