Me till someone calls me a good boy uwu

[-] UraniumBlazer@lemm.ee 48 points 1 month ago

He has made jokes about horse cocks before. He also accidentally opened a folder containing loli and horse cocks on stream once .

There's also an old out of context clip of him floating around "justifying cp because we abuse kids in labor camps that we get our rare earth metals, t-shirts, shoes n stuff like that from".

That is NOT what he meant to say. If u see it in full context, he was displaying the contradictions of neo liberalism, where working conditions even for children are absolutely shit. We hate child porn (as we should), but we don't hate the horrendous working conditions that our corporations make kids from poor countries go through. We justify stuff like this by pointing at the low cost that results from this cheap labor. This is absolutely disgusting. He was trying to say this, but got clipped out of context.

Doesn't help that tankies absolutely hate him too (he's a libertarian socialist who is pro Ukraine and anti CCP). I'm not saying that the guy is clean. Maybe he is a pedo. Maybe he isn't. However, an accusation like that requires some sort of evidence. Without it, it's just ad hominem. The amount of hatred that starts flowing after u even mention the guy's name is unjustified imo. I agree with him on some issues, n I disagree with him on others. Then, I move on. People unfortunately don't do that.

Have u tried changing user agent? Get an add-on on Firefox with a similar name and change to chrome. The website will now think that u'r using Chrome. U could even change ur displayed OS if it has that big of a problem with Linux.

Fun fact: According to the Indian Constitution, India is a "socialist secular Republic". India had incredibly powerful unions till the 90s. After that, liberalisation happened (which led to significant economic progress). This however, destroyed all socialist institutions that were in place.

It has become so bad, that the wealth inequality is now more than it was under the fucking British Raj.

Edit: To those downvoting, could please comment the reason as to why you are downvoting? The comments that are there right now do not explain the reason for the downvotes. I am genuinely curious as to what the thinking behind disliking the post is.

Imagine you are a trans woman in the 15th century. You lack the tech to grow boobs. You lack the tech to make ur dick into a vagina. However, the want still exists and is very real.

Now imagine the year is 2124. You are 55 years old. The tech to look exactly like you looked when you were sayyy 12 exists. You want to look like that. I would say that looking like that is your right. It's your body after all.

However, you are still 55 years old. You just LOOK like a child. But you possess the ability to consent. Is having sex with such people moral? (I would say it is).

This however introduces problems. How do you differentiate between actual children and people who physically look like children? Would this be a political issue then? Would adults who want to have sex with adults (but those who look like kids) be discriminated against? Would there be movements for this?

I really really don't understand how people are either so tiny brained or so fkin inconsiderate. Probably this is the wrong community to post this, as my infuriation levels are far from mild.

Like... you look up a tutorial on a specific thing. You see a list of videos describing the very thing that you want in perfect English. You open the video to see that it is in a completely different language (usually Hindi). You then feel like personally going on a mission to assassinate that video creator. /s

Like come on... I understand that English alphabets are more readable to people who speak languages other than English. FINE. I GET IT. But would it be too much to ask to at least put the name of the fkin language that your video is actually in, in the title?

Like... it would so much better for a video title to be "(Hindi) Ranked Retrieval model explained" instead of "Ranked Retrieval model explained" and it turning out to be in Hindi. Like... do these people not think? Or do they not have a brain? Or do they just not care?

I scoured through SO MANY VIDEOS and all of them have this nonsense going on. Like come on....

Not a unique one, but the dark forest hypothesis.

For those unaware, YaCy is an open source indexing software with some p2p search capabilities. However, if you've run it yourself, you'd know that the search results are very bad. Therefore I am wondering if this is a resources issue or a YaCy software issue, or both.

Had YaCy had really huge resources for the crawling and indexing, would it have been a good enough search engine to replace google/ddg?

Like imagine going to a pride parade and you see some twink u never met and be Iike, "hey colleague! How're u? How's the bottom job position working for you?"

"Colleague"... That's a funny word...

TLDR: Let's say you want to teach an LLM a new skill. You give them training data pertaining to that skill. Currently, researchers believe that this skill development shows up suddenly in a breakthrough fashion. They think so because they measure this skill using some methods. The skill levels remain very low until they unpredictably jump up like crazy. This is the "breakthrough".

BUT, the paper that this article references points at flaws in the methods of measuring skills. This paper suggests that breakthrough behavior doesn't really exist and skill development is actually quite predictable.

Also, uhhh I'm not AI (I see that TLDR bot lurking everywhere, which is what made me specify this).

On the other hand, it would definitely be inappropriate for her to walk around entirely in the nude

Now I'm going to get downvoted to oblivion for saying this, but just hear me out. Why would she be inappropriate even if she did that? How does the act of being nude at home harm anyone? There is literally not a single explanation as to why nudity must be looked down upon like so.

The only reason why nudity is perceived to be inappropriate is due to cultural/religious reasons. I believe it is due to this misunderstanding that being naked equals having sex. This however is obviously not the case. Scandinavian culture is much more libertarian in this regard. Look up their "saunas". Compare this to Middle Eastern culture for instance, where skin isn't appreciated much.

When we look at your situation from this point of view, should an individual really have any right to dictate another adult individual about their choice of clothing? I believe the only reason why the revealing clothes are making you (or anyone for that matter) uncomfortable is due to cultural/religious influences. Shake that aside, and this situation doesn't even remotely become special or weird.
