Windex to clean, let it dry for a bit, then a layer of gluestick has always worked for me, as long as the bed heats to 60°C for printing. The z offset has to be a bit different for PETG than PLA, which can be a bit tricky. I think (been a whole since I've printed PETG) it had to be a bit higher than PLA, so it wouldn't "squish" as much as PLA. Seemed a bit counterintuitive, but it solved most of my problems

I'd agree with router before a drill press, miter saw, bandsaw, and a jointer. However, for simple furniture projects, I'd argue a planer is the second most important tool behind a table saw. You can use a planer with a sled for face jointing, and a table saw sled for edge jointing. Yes, you need a router for edge profiles, but not for dead simple tables and cabinets.

Exceptionally versatile tool, and necessary to take you to the next level, but not more important than a planer.

Woodworking for Mere Mortals had some great Microjig ads for a while until he ended the partnership

That sucks man. I started at the 70mg/ml dose and upped to 140mg/ml after about 2 months and it has been much more effective. I started in January 2022, upped the dose in March or April, then missed a dose by two weeks due to the VA's incompetence in October that knocked me out for over a week. Otherwise, been very stable. A few mild migraines in that time, but nothing nearly as bad as they used to be for a decade before I tried Aimovig.

There are tons of different triptans that can help relieve pain, hopefully you can find something that works. Hope the higher Aimovig dose works for you!

Thanks man. Aimovig works better than anything I've tried, and it's light-years better than it used to be. As long as I take my shot every month, it's manageable. I have maybe one bad migraine every six weeks, but even the bad ones are comparable to what I used to have every day, let alone the bad ones I used to get.

I'm glad that worked for you! I tried a dozen different drugs before Aimovig, which is a CGRP inhibitor, biologic drug with only a handful of variants thats fairly recent. Everything else I tried (including beta blockers and an antiseizure medication) did nothing for my migraines and all had bad side effects. It's a monthly injection I give myself, but it reduced the frequency of my migraines by 62% and severity by almost 80%.

I missed a dose last year (thanks VA), and I had the second worst migraine of my life, so definitely not cured. Fantastic preventative though.

Woodworking or video games. Maybe both

$100/month, 1200/40mbps. Wish I had fiber for better upload speed, but happy with the download. Allegedly, Xfinity is increasing upload speed sometime this year, but there was an announcement for that same thing last year

Over 2k in Rust and Mordhau, but probably Morrowind. I sank some serious time into that on Xbox as a kid.

Good! I loved having removable batteries, especially while traveling. Just carry a charged battery and hotswap them instead of having to find a plug to camp by for 30-60 minutes

feels like people actually want to chat a bit here as opposed to either ignoring or simply arguing like on Reddit.

That's been my issue with Reddit for a while now. People are extremely polarized on everything. You can't have a conversation about a casual disagreement without being downvoted to oblivion and people interpreting it as a personal attack. The smaller, focused subs are better, but still fall firmly into the groupthink dynamic of the rest of the site.
