Mistral AI is another EU alternative for now. There is talk into it being sold, but for now it is still from Europe.
Something like that will kinda work, but using it will flag your transactions if you use it as a business. That's the issue with a lot of these things is that we need to have some kind of balance between privacy and authorities being able to do anything against terrorism etc. And yes you can find terrorists based on transactions.
Kids shouldn’t have smartphones no, but it can he handy for a group of kinds to have at least some kind of phone. Heck even a phone without a sim can be used to call 112.
In NL it is so stupid, I am legally allowed to verify my age and gamble, but opening loot boxes no way.
Worst part is that loot boxes aren't even defined as gambling yet ...
Accident and emergency people?
Are you saying creators should not disclose their sponsors? If so...
I disagree, we need more transparency about finances of companies in the world. If a sponsor can pay somebody like LinusTechTips 40k a video to promote their video, than that means we as a consumer are overpaying for the product.
In a lot of European countries you can just see an annual report of a company which you can use to say filter out dropshippers since they generally spend a lot on ads and marketing.
We aren't going to be able to stop ads on the web unless we start paying subscriptions for everything and that is a good way to get a lot of people into financial trouble. I also wish we could more easily go back to simple websites with no tracking and barely any ads.
Probably not considering I live in a generally low risk country (NL) and they can't have something that doesn't exist. International intelligence in GDPR countries generally goes through the own countries government unless there are signs that they cannot be trusted.
And they will be really wary of using illegally obtained data on somebody in NL since that will cause for a lot of attention on them and probably issues. So even if they have relevant data they should be hesitant of using it.
I am against guns, but I don't believe the police brutality has to do with guns
Or just say 33%?
Yea you are right some people cannot do that, but there are a shit ton of people in first world non corrupt countries who literally waste money.
Some people need to hear that buying the cheapest thing is the right to do when they don’t have a choice, but some other group of people need the financial advice to do shit properly.
Telling people that buying the cheapest thing is good for some, but financially hurting others who can afford to spend 5 bucks instead of 1 on a better knife or whatnot.
We can have a whole other discussion about raising minimum wage cause that will drive costs up in certain sectors even more. Government’s need to step in and increase minimum INCOME. UBI etc.
Edit: i have seen people waste money on terrible products when they could afford better. There is a group of people who has the money but never really learned how to save and spend it properly to get the most out if it. Buying plastic plates every week or so is way more expensive than buying an actual plate.
Generally the slightly more expensive shit is cheaper in the long run that’s the thing. And some people choose to spend more money buying shit om Amazon/Aliexpress/Wish etc instead of buying something similar locally.
Not Just Bikes makes a great video how the cheaper options like Walmart are actively destroying America. Partially because they more their profits to a company outside the US and partially because they remove jobs.
But yeah, shit is hard to fix in corrupt countries.
We need to call for an audit on Protons policy and see if they actually do what they say, that way we can know for almost certain that everything is good as they say
