I am not religious so I don’t know the details but I have a friend who is very religious and refuses to vote for Trump again. He hates Harris but won’t give me a reason. When I have brought up the Israel stuff he immediately jumps to a very, holy land, must support and defend at any cost mentality. He would never vote Democrat but it makes me wonder how pervasive this weird fairy tale attachment exists throughout the voting base.

I’m not sure how accurate I could be on the spot with no resources at my fingertips but she posted this online, I find it more damming that she wouldn’t even verify something so easy to look up online. Why would she just blindly offer up her ignorance when even with as bad as google is these days the first link I get when searching is to the governments national archive website and lists not only their names but their birthdays, no cross referencing even required…

I wonder if the type matters. I put all my loaves in the freezer from Sam’s and just take one out and put it in the bottom cupboard the night before if I’m low/out and it looks and tastes exactly the same as the never frozen loaf I will use first after I get home from shopping. I love my dedicated upright freezer. Not as efficient as a chest freezer but it’s convenient enough that my kids and I actually use it daily instead of trying to avoid it.

It’s early hard to explain your point to someone that hasn’t recovered from narcissistic abuse. Even those in the thick of it, you can tell them what’s happening, they can intellectually understand, but they inevitably try to relate and discover excuses or reasons which completely misses the point of how someone that truly has NPD is wired. It’s really a shame and I wish I had a good answer. Their are tons of articles and videos from experts that accurately and intellectually describe what you are attempting to explain but the point you are trying to drive home, which you are accurately and concisely stating, never seems to really sink in for folks in my experience.

Energy drinks (EDs) are sweetened beverages that contain multiple stimulants such as caffeine, guarana, or taurine.

The results of this study reveal that the consumption of a single, bodyweight-adjusted ED dosage is linked with a significantly higher median 24-h SBP (+5.26 mmHg) and DBP (+3.45 mmHg), compared to a placebo beverage, in healthy children and adolescents. A meta-analysis by Conen et al. suggests that an increase of 10 mmHg in 24-h SBP is connected with a 27% higher risk for cardiovascular events.38 In addition, a population-based study by Hansen et al. indicates that an increase of 5 mmHg in 24-h DBP is associated with a 27% higher risk for cardiovascular disease.39 Therefore, the ED-induced alterations in the pediatric 24-h blood pressure profile displayed in this study can be considered alarming.

Moreover, chronic ED consumption could result in arterial hypertension and hence increased left ventricular afterload, ultimately leading to left ventricular dysfunction and hypertrophy.16 A previous publication conducted by our department reported a significantly lower cardiac efficiency after acute ED consumption in healthy children and adolescents.16 Furthermore, many EDs contain high amounts of sugar and thus “empty” calories. Chronic ED consumption could therefore lead to the onset of glucose metabolism disorders and aggravate weight gain. As ED consumption is associated with a shorter sleep duration,32 it might additionally increase cardiovascular risk.35 In summary, children and adolescents, particularly those with elevated cardiovascular morbidity (e.g., arterial hypertension, diabetes, excess weight), should be discouraged from consuming EDs. Moreover, minors should be made aware of the potential health risks of excessive ED intake as well as responsible ED consumption behaviors.

Based on my reading of the other comments here their is a huge push against this type of functionality from folks that understand the service better than I do. I doubt any contributions from an outside perspective would be at all welcomed.
