I'd say start organizing for ranked choice now...but Trump definitely won't listen. Shit, will we even still have FPTP?

Minecraft is mostly popular with people who were 5 - 12 years old 10 years ago.

There is a similar movement to SovCits that is at least properly adapted to other countries (specifically the Commonwealth and Ireland's) laws called "Freeman on the Land."

Hope it's not as bad as I think ("as bad as I think" means "mass killings;") What else can I do? Everyone else here seems to be privileged enough to have the skills or plain cash to say "I'll go somewhere else," isn't as worried as they should be, or think they're Apocalypse Badass Man (see: accelerationists.) That's not me. I'm unskilled, poor, I have the self-introspection to know I don't have what it takes to be a revolutionary.

I just don't agree based on the state of Facebook.

You don't hear about American politicians farting because we decided you needed to, you hear about it because France Info, BBC, Sky News, etc. decided you did, or because you're on English speaking parts of the internet and the USA represents the largest English speaking population in the world by far.

I'm not actively mad about it but I agree it shouldn't have been done and shouldn't be normalized.

This. I'd agree with the sentiment that Americans don't protest enough. Most Europeans and Self-Hating Americans seem to think protests don't happen here at all.

I mean, that already is used to significantly lower at-the-pump gas prices from what they actually are, and raising gas prices is an easy way to lose an election in America, so that probably won't change. Notice that in many other countries gas prices are way higher than in the US.

USA:

I would be running on a social democratic platform with a focus on urbanism, affordable housing and tough-on-landlords policies, de-escalation with China, stopping state governments from being aggressive toward Mexico, and introducing a bodily autonomy amendment to the Constitution, with rhetoric that attempts to take the notion of American pride back from conservatives and warmongerers.

I was one of those people stopped being "anti-SJW" when Unite the Right happened, and later I flirted with anarcho-communist ideas (I'm still in my early 20s, this is more common with American youth than you'd think.) The former would turn off my social democratic base, the latter would discourage centrist voters. Also my views on race don't align perfectly with the American progressive orthodoxy (it has a lot to do with being mixed race, though I don't think my views are popular with mixed people either.) And I crossdress (might boost me with socdems but halt momentum with undecideds and old people.)

I'm honestly under the impression Google Search is one of their less valuable products, even if it's the one everyone associates the company's name with.

I always feel weirded out when people are surprised part of Russia is in Europe, when I was surprised to learn part of it is considered Asia.
