All stereotypes are bad, but as a mixed black person, I'm frankly more worried about the "black people are violent" stereotype.

I mean, if there wasn't fourty years worth of context for why this is bad, I'd agree with it.

Like, it could mean infrastructure projects or a renewed investment in education or something. But alas it honestly just means "destroy and loot America by deceiving uneducated rural whites" at this point.

A while back I remember hearing "dying" was only accurate in the West, but that was a matter of years ago so it may or may not still be true.

West in my opinion should grow out of their shame about what they did to Jewish people. And start calling out them for the horrors Jewish people are doing.

Mild disagree. What needs to happen is that the shame has to be about what was done instead of who it was done to.

"Merry Christmas" is pretty much the only context I see my fellow Americans use the word "Merry" other than deliberately trying to sound upper class British.

  1. A post scarcity society

  2. World peace

  3. The eradication of authoritarianism

The overwhelming trend in non-US Westerner commentary on US politics is to is get the facts right...and then dilute it with exaggerations, stereotypes, not understanding the culture, not respecting the culture, not believing there is a culture, a general lack of empathy...

I could see there being fatigue with particular genres of indie games (Metroidvanias, Rougelites, First-Person Horror without combat, speedrunner-oriented 2D platformers) but not with the very concept.

at least pass a reading and comprehension test

That's banned in the US under the Civil Rights Act of 1965 because it was used to cut racial minorities out of the voting process. I can also think of a bunch of other ways this could be abused.

No. eSports is currently a shrinking industry. It's here to stay but it doesn't show signs of overtaking.

Even if it starts to get big again, it's better compared to competitive Chess or Pool or even Motorsports than conventional sports.

Many midrange phones still have headphone jacks, and removable battery has to come back if they want to continue selling in the EU.
