It's jsx which is framework agnostic and used in several frameworks but most closely associated with react. It's easy to convert to html but I guess the author is a react dev and also these icons use framer-motion which is a react animation library to animate the cursor hover. Looks like you can strip those out if you wanted to use these icons in html without animations.

I was thinking some non standard markdown that syncs with some external system like apple reminders (god forgive me) or task warrior. That's kind of all I need from org mode anyway.

The incident has reignited debates within Southeast Asia about the West's alleged moral decline for not having more forcefully condemned Israeli actions in Gaza.

I can't believe how obviously hypocritical this is. As if the issue we have with the west is the rhetoric isn't to our liking and not that the west is actively funding and providing weapons to facilitate a genocide. Nobody gives a shit if you "more forcefully condemn" the genocide. Just stop doing it and we'll be happy.
