It has yes, however the techniques Carmack used in Doom's engine probably don't have much of an impact on something like Cyberpunk 2077.

My first real RPG was Ultima IV. The box said "80 hours of gameplay" and I must have played it for the better part of 4 years every day after school, never quite beating it. Then I got Ultima V for Christmas and beat it in 2 weeks.

Ultima I though, that was a blast. Hovercraft and lightsabers, and the space shuttle made an appearance.

Seriously. It was like, "yes, YES, wait what, hmm, absolutely, again what, uhh, wait but you said, well yeah".

So build a wind powered superyacht. Oh wait, they've done that for thousands of years!

Can confirm. Have been working from home since 2019, haven't gotten sick once. Y'all can keep your germs.

$135 for Internet and $80 for mobile is criminal. I pay $130/month for internet, but that's for high speed fiber, because I work from home as a software engineer. I also only pay $35/month for mobile after switching to Virgin because Telus' prices are insane.

I miss living in California and paying $20/month for Google Fi.

To clarify, people who love coffee buy fresh roasted beans and grind it themselves for brewing for the best possible flavor.

Buying a kilo of any pre-ground coffee and slapping it into a drip machine is not something people who love coffee would typically do.

One of the reasons I moved from lemmy.ml to lemmy.ca was to avoid the Hexbear troublemakers. Absolutely not surprised to see they're still involved in drama.

I'm guessing his cheque from RBC hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

Ahh yes, the "now is not the time to talk about gun control" argument that rears it's ugly head after every school shooting in the US.

Why is this surprising? ESA's are not Service Animals. I'm only familiar with how the ADA works, but under the ADA ESA's have special provisions when it comes to housing and airlines. ESA's don't have the right to be in restaurants or grocery stores, etc.
