I looked. The guy is pretty normal.
..and chill.
It's a filesystem that supports all of these features (and in combination):
- snapshotting
- error correction
- per-file or per-directory "transparently compress this"
- per-file of per-directory "transparently back this up"
If that is meaningless to you, that's fine, but it sure as hell looks good to me. You can just stick with ext3 - it's rock solid.
Extra cute
Yeah. Mainly, find ways, wherever you are, to do right with the small amount of power you have. It matters.
Some of that is voting. Some of that is whatever political support you can manage. Some of it is just saying "that seems like a bad idea" when you're in a meeting, or choosing a more ethical supplier if you're at some company.
Always know that, no matter how small the power you hold seems, it matters.
Classic sewage turbine.
Time is change, and exists whether or not we measure it.
Just do it opportunistically. You don't have to explain it to anyone, and you can make the choice whenever it's available and comfortable. You don't have to be an absolutist about your diet. Any change you make for the better, even if it's just at home or when you're alone, is enough to make some difference.
In the end, I suppose, just do what you feel good about.
There are still a lot of games that expect some XWindows stuff. I've run into it, but not too frequently.
Generally, the fix is setting an environment variable that tells a library backend to expect Wayland - something they could do in code with minimal effort. It kinda makes me wonder if there's some common 'port your game to steam/Linux!' tutorial that they're following.
lol.
- post asks which app is preferred
- a clear winner with lots of reasons why emerges
- "propagandists!"
I dislike Signal because of the abandonment of SMS as an option. Without that, it's on par with (not really ahead of) most other secure messengers. Session is pretty decent, and I am curious if SimpleX will take off.
Anyways. Not a Session fanboy by any means, but I cam still see that (given the two options asked about) session is the clear winner. But your take on this all is hilarious.
Yeah. The suicide pods are a good example. There's enough space in them that the person won't experience CO2 buildup in the short amount of time it takes.
