When and how will I be able to show calendar events available through the KDE PIM suite in this desktop widget? They already are in the pop-up calendar display when clicking on at the panel clock:

Yup, it's my top favourite of all the ones I've tried so far

I'm using the Thunder Android app, and its really great, but I can't find a way to check what I up- (or down-)voted. Is this generally a thing that Lemmy should have on display somewhere and maybe the app just hasn't implemented, or is Lemmy simply not exposing that data to the user?

Never forget that the right-left spectrum is a myth

Easy - that's the face they make right before they chomp your soft parts and eat you

I've been wondering if that actually holds any water - or is it just some outdated, poor-quality study (or Sunday newspaper article) that was quoted so many times that everybody believes it now?

I guess the "problem" with trees is obvious: it takes decades for them to produce the desired cooling effect in urban areas. You plant a dozen young trees today, you can begin to reap the cooldown 10 years later at best. Also, they need a lot if water, and many of them just don't make it - urban surroundings are just much hotter and more stressful (smog, salt...) then standing with other trees in a forest. I fail to see though how these artificial "trees" provide any kind of benefit at all.

I don't think animals are ever okay getting CT scanned

MEINS!

Korganizer keeps showing my appointments in the wrong time zone.

In the settings > time&date, I have middle European time set, but when I want to create a new event (or later when editing one), it's always set to UTC time nd I have to remember always to adjust the time zone, which can lead to problematic situations if I forget.

I believe it's a bug, but maybe there's another setting I can tweak that I haven't discovered yet?

That was the time when all the apps were standard XMPP. It didn't have proper encryption back then. WhatsApp is still XMPP nowadays, but excluding federation and non-standard implementation on Meta servers and so on

The whole epidemic of defederating is mostly because of all the csam issues, no?

It gets worse. All Electron applications are Chromium, too.
