I hate getting my feet wet in the bathroom because someone else dripped all over the floor/rug because they didn't dry themselves before they got out of the shower. Especially when I have socks on. Dry your entire body before you take any body part out of the shower. 😤

I don't understand, why is this a lawsuit instead of an arrest warrant?

Totally agree; I hate pooping without it. Though I did upgrade a while back from a $20-30 one to this: https://luxebidet.com/pages/neo-185-plus-highlights

I took the old one off to really clean it and that sold me on this new flip up one.

I've got a weather station outside and I use this add on to bring it into HA. We only had 79.8% coverage during the eclipse, but there was a noticeable drop in temperature!

+1 for Valetudo! I've installed it once via OTA and twice by FEL. The OTA was obviously a breeze, but FEL wasn't that bad. I just watched videos on YouTube for the disassembly and took my time doing each step. I love the UI and the fact that I can SSH into them just for the sheer coolness of it! I think one great thing about it is that it doesn't affect the software that the robot uses for all its tasks and functions (e.g. vacuuming, mopping, sensors), just that it replaced the cloud and runs it on device.

I recently moved away from MyQ to local control of my garage door and I've been loving it. I stumbled across the linked issue where MyQ shit the bed for roughly 3 days and it just confirms to me that the extra effort to move away from a cloud service was worth it. I'm down to just one last cloud service for something inside my house. My mind is pretty much made up that if I can't accomplish it locally, I won't do/use it.

I just setup ratgdo on my Chamberlain garage door opener and it was great. Flashing it via Chrome and configuration was easy, Home Assistant picked it up via MQTT immediately, and wiring it up was simple. All around a great experience and well worth the money. I'll keep myQ around for a few days, but if no issues crop up, I'll be kicking it to the curb soon.
