any place in the milky way

This is kind of hilarious phrasing because these metals are actually more abundant everywhere except for Earth because on earth where they sunk down to the core of the planet. inside of asteroids and things like that there's not enough gravity for that to happen.

Rare earth metals are actually pretty common everywhere else, China just cornered the market by having no environmental regulations, paying people to come into the United States and bitch whenever we make a rare earth facility because of environmental impacts, and using subsidy to undercut the rest of the world.

The moment trying to tries to block the world off where metal creation in the world will take off again.

Vaping is actually very helpful and it's probably helped a lot of people stop smoking.

The only problem was the fact that they got away with doing shit like advertising it to kids and making it cool. Fix that problem and vaping is almost literally only an advantage compared to cigarettes.

And even with more people taking it up, it's still unhealthy but it's like mildly unhealthy instead of cigarettes where it's like oh yeah you're going to double your chance of dying at 50.

I'm not suggesting they do anything, except for the fact they got Delta shit sandwich and I'm not about to criticize them for doing or not doing anything, because it's really not their fault they are where they are.

Vegans are all about telling you what you can't do.

Pirates are all about telling you what you can do.

People like having stuff for free. People don't like being told what is or isn't wrong and what they should or shouldn't do.

low prices

They're fighting Chinese market manipulation that is specifically designed to make the world dependent on them and lowers wages across the world by creating massive market imbalances. Every nation with two brain cells should ban the import of all Chinese vehicles and eventually all Chinese industry entirely.

Hi. Would you like to back up to the windows cloud? You can say yes or you can tell us to remind you in a week.

You want to not be reminded? Fuck you.

There's a big ass difference between international murder and an angry lash out killing someone. At 87 you're going to die from stuff that a random angry drunk won't consider.

Not releasing calibration tools and such is not "Anti repair" that's just "not pro repair"

Not pro repair is anti repair. Making it hard to fix the shit you own by obfuscating what you have to do to fix it is anti repair.

If they didn't obfuscate it there would be many tools out there already to let it be done. Also, basically every other laptop doesn't have these random calibration issues. Why would Apple be so unique?

Design wise, Apple is not trying to hold you back, they just do not give a fuck if you can repair anything they build.

They literally serial lock almost half of their parts.

And an unlockable bootloader.

Decent CPU and RAM.

High rate screen

Unlockable bootloader

SD card

Removable battery.

Such a phone would be an instant buy for me, but nobody wants to make them

The most curious thing here is that they're all from different companies. I think this is a big trial run.

Except carbon sequestration is not ever going to work and it's always going to be more expensive than having just burned that fuel in the first place.

Maybe you'll get an advantage if it's nearly free to do and you use exclusively solar power in areas with excesses of it.

But on average? Sequestration is not an answer. The carbon dioxide in our atmosphere is just too rare to effectively pull out, and it's never going to be capable of even reaching fractions of what we're emitting right now.

We have one answer to this problem and one answer only.

Stop. Using. Fossil. Fuels.

Tax carbon.

Start getting ready to do geoengineering, because we are going to need it.

People like to bitch and say that we shouldn't be changing the environment, but guess what, we're changing the environment if we like it or not, it's only a question of it it's in our interests or if it's an uncontrolled self-destructive form.

It used to be open, then they looked the entire research community in the eyes, flipped them the bird, and burned not only their good will, but a huge portion of actually open AI research and development.

Remember they promised it was because of safety when they didn't release gpt3 to the public. They're full of shit and safety means only corporate control.
