I'm curious to know how your language throws and catches errors :)
oh, sorry about that, I didn't realize this could be bad for mobile users. All I needed was a command that could display all system info like distro name and version, kernel version, DE version, etc, I didn't necessarily need the distro logo and some other useless info in there.
not rude. yeah it's a login screen as when I input my password all apps that I was using are closed, blank new session.
Started with Ubuntu back in 2016 when it still had the reddish brown mud theme. I still have some.of the installation discs you could order back then.
I started using because I started Computer Science university and I thought I should finally learn Linux. Fell in love with it and have been using ever since. I now use Fedora.
Which station is that one?
That actually reminds me of RetroAchievements. Some modern emulators have an integration with it and they track play time and achievements. I am not sure if it works for any game but in theory a standalone scrobbler could be written.
I wanted to bring this up, I'm glad others also see it. (Or rather don't? :p)
I came back to using Linux after a few years break this week, tested a bunch of different distros, and for some reason the game I picked to load on all of them to test gaming was No Man's Sky.
Needless to say, after I finished setting up my final distro of choice (which was Ubuntu 23.10), I've put many more hours into this game since.
I am out of the loop, do you mean as native or in proton?
Unfortunately those are not platforms meant for archiving, it's in their own TOS they can take down any content or entire accounts at their own will and for undisclosed reasons. Also those platforms are subject to shitty practices like report abusing, yet another reason to put your content in danger.
Also unfortunately they are very attractive because of the influence a person can build with large network of followers in those platforms and how they can leverage that.
I don't see a plausible solution or alternative. Instagram, Facebook, are the platform of the masses and where your content has the highest exposure. People today aren't browsing "the web" like we used to back then. Instagram/Facebook are the internet.
I meant that an iOS version is upcoming and the Android version is in early access, I hope you didn't think I honestly believed you can install Android apps on iOS.
She's using a Samsung android phone with Family Link, it's meh but does it's job. I'm looking into limiting screen time more than content restrictions, and having the total screen time across all devices in a centralised service is very much what I'm looking for.
