How is it even possible to afford $800 for insulin? It boggles the mind

"This is how conspiracy theorists actually think"

I'm not sure why this generalisation was required? Many 'conspiracy theories' have been proven to be true, and not ALL theorists believe ALL of the theories. It's easy to discredit somebody when you label them something and then say that those that are labelled are idiots.

edit- downvoting something without replying to it is how you get an echo chamber

Besides 42, of course.

I'm glad that you have such excellent food even when it's bad. That you somehow find yourself purveying everything that Britain has to offer - hating it - and also so much of other cuisines for comparison. Omniscient taste buds, I would wager.

This just reads like ragebait haha. I have had good Indian food and bad Indian food, I've had good pasta and bad pasta. If you think that every other cuisine but British is somehow always amazing and always better than British food then I don't know what to tell you. Go to a tourist trap in Italy and you will have trash that doesn't compare to even a British Italian chain. Buy panipuri from the wrong guy in India and not only will you shit yourself violently but it will taste like a spicy watery mess.

The only reason I can fathom why anybody would talk so much nonsense is for ragebait purposes. Going from "your cuisine isn't as good as India's" to "your food is garbage" is a pretty steep slope.

You're not wrong, it is definitely an improvement. Fruit pudding is such a weird juxtaposition, like a cinnamon tart, super sweet eaten alongside all of the salty.

Steak and ale pie is so underrated.

This isn't a diet plan for a British person, it's just the top foods. If you look at USA top foods it would be burgers, BBQ, pizza, chowder, etc. I don't think Americans are known for eating plates of vegetables but that doesn't mean you don't eat them.

There is some nuance to the quality of fish and chips. It is a takeaway food, therefore the 'quality' of it will never be as high as something you would get in a Michelin starred restaurant.

It's also a food which has a very high ceiling and a very low floor. Soggy batter, poor quality fish, rubbish chips are all going to drastically effect the enjoyment of them, and based on your comment I can only assume you've had shit fish and chips.

The quality difference between a sea side town chippy (or a Scottish one) vs. the average chippy in middle England is drastic. It's also all quite dependent on condiments. In East Scotland they have something called Chippy Sauce which is vinegar mixed with brown sauce.

All that to say: if you think fish and chips is bad, you don't know what you're talking about.

Having a sunday roast which has a yorkshire pudding in it alongside a yorkshire pudding in god tier is a bit weird. I wouldn't say a yorkshire pudding is god tier alone, I wouldn't sit and eat them without say, gravy, or the other trimmings.

Cauli cheese I would put in top tier - but I'd also want to have it with a sunday roast.

Pie mash and liquor should be its own concept, and regular pie and mash (e.g., steak and ale) should be in a higher tier by itself, served with gravy

A good scotch egg (like, freshly made) should be in top tier tbh. A super market one can go in low tier though.

Haggis is definitely top tier - can actually go in god tier alongside fish and chips, it's my usual order when I go to a Scottish chippy. (Spicy haggis supper, salt and sauce - preferably going half and half with someone who got fish)

Can't say I massively disagree with the rest.

I would also say that the idea of changing the definition of racism to mean that you cannot be racist toward a white person is also inherently racist. You could say, "person X is oppressed by people Y, so I understand why they are racist" but that doesn't mean that they aren't racist, or that it's okay.

I would immediately begin searching for and hiring the smartest people in every field to help me to make my decisions. The best economists, scientists, biologists, climatologists, foreign policists, etc. I am not smart enough to be POTUS and that's exactly who the POTUS should be, someone who is willing to listen and do what is best based on proper advice.
