lol no, it's alpine based. basing something on Manjaro would be pretty dumb anyways, might as well go straight off Arch (especially dumb since neither have official ARM support which phones need)

San Francisco always gets left out of these as well, but transit there rocks

I agree with you, but I also thought that about Ukraine, so who knows

Yeah mine was 3.5 years. To be fair, I initiated it and I still think I made the right choice. But it's really tough. It was definitely very special and I'll miss parts of her for a long time. Doesn't outweigh the emotional toll some of our mistakes had though. Definitely doesn't help to care about her and also have to watch her heart get destroyed by my own choice :/

yeah that one's hard to get. Gotta go camp out at their factory sometimes and they limit you to once every 6 months!!

while I agree with you, calling people who recommend other distro elitists, horrible teachers, and idiots is pretty combative and rude.

I'm not sure that is a fair reaction. If your workflow relies heavily on many complex extensions that have a history of updating slow it is probably worth just... waiting a bit? You don't HAVE to be on the bleeding edge of Gnome releases. With a fairly minimal extensions list I've not had problems updating to new releases for a long long time

lemdro.id is quite strict regarding bots, I run it! I'm not sure what post they were referring to since I can't see it in their history

When I visited Japan earlier this year, I was surprised with how common Google Pixels seemed to be. Interesting that data backs up my subjective experience!

To add on to what @ijeff said, eventually the plan is to open up community contributions. However, they are not needed since so far hosting costs are looking to be around $40/mo (for a setup which is highly available!) which is low enough I'm happy to fund it for eternity.

I've seen other instances have luck with asking for low amounts of contributions through ko.fi or GitHub sponsors and we will eventually do something similar. I'm waiting until I have the infrastructure in a stable place (i.e. not changing too much) and I have open-sourced all of the setup work.
