For most laptop's batteries can last up to 5 years, if lucky up to 8 years like on of my older laptops.

In older laptop models batteries are very easy to remove and replace, in most cases you just take out the battery from the back.

With never laptops in most cases you need to remove the whole bottom cover and then you get access to the battery that is still pretty easy to remove. You just pull one wire and unscrew a couple of screws and you can just swap the battery.

This kind of reaction's are the main reason I will leave typos, or just to get a reaction out of typing police.

I feel like matrix is an overkill for something like this personally, because I wan't to be motly only used for quick help with peple around the globe and matrix is more generally used to communicate with a huge amount of people around the globe.

Main reason also why I didn't go with matrix is because in my eyes it's still inmature and requires a good amount of maintenance, for what I think of as a simply a quick and dirty server to quickly help people in a more real time setting.

I don't mind people not liking the fact that it's a mattermost server and not wanting to sing up only for this community, it's their choice after all.

I moved to usenet, seted up a few good indexers and providers and the experience is 1000x better and easier than trying to get into any kind of private trackers.

I'm just used to it and I'm keeping ny time in instert mode at minimum.

Most streaming services have that under a paywall, which in that case I will much rather just make my own if I have a system to do it.

I personally use simplelogin aliasing service for that and just save the mail in my password manager keepass.
