There is already a uniparty - the corporate party. Neolibs and Neocons united decades ago to pull the long con in America, and it worked beautifully. Gradual incrementalism isn’t going to get us out of this mess brother - it’s what got us here in the first place.

Just 20 years ago a similar hurricane by the name of Katrina rocked the nation and was part of the 24 he news cycle for months. Katrina was (and rightfully so) a huge deal in America, and recognized as a mega traumatizing event.

It’s amazing to me how jaded the American public and media have become in that time, to where this disaster hardly even makes the news and is forgotten before it’s even joever.

I’m honestly not quite sure what to think of it. Have we become so calloused to the idea of climate change that this isn’t newsworthy? Is this more reflective of the corporate capture of media, and insurers not wanting to pay out for destroyed homes and lives? Or is this just secondary to the overriding effort to further a new war in the Middle East?

Probably for committing one of the highest crimes of the land - disrespecting a police officer by not following their orders. They don’t care if he was seizing, unconscious, whatever. They will shoot to kill for such an infraction.

Sucks about Sorbo, but thankfully Lucy Lawless (Xena) is still cool af. If you haven’t seen her in Ash vs Evil Dead, check it out! Good stuff.

This seems to be precisely what Netenyahu has in mind, unfortunately.

Governments can and should be criticized without bigotry towards the governed populace. We should always take the side of the civilians, as we are civilians too.

It is in fact these governments producing massive amounts of propaganda to demonize “the other side.” What might they have to gain from global culture wars such as this?

Interesting predictions from the 60s.

It turns out that in the early 70s, “we” decided to give everything to corporations and those already wealthy instead. Productivity did indeed continue to skyrocket, but wages have stagnated since then. For 50+ years we’ve been getting robbed.

This event only marks the beginning of his metamorphosis.

In the future, when an unsuspecting minority youth mistakenly knocks on his mansion’s gate, the transformation will be complete.
