Well, if you learn about software development from reddit and Lemmy, that's one thing. Not always representative of the real world.

Even though it's often just for content and publicity, I'd much rather have that type of content than for example rage bait

Most likely it's an ad from one of your open Firefox tabs. Try exiting all your web browsers and see if that fixes it.

There is no guarantee that the released app is exactly the same as the source code when getting it on Google Play. You'd have to decompile or compile from source and try to compare.

Using F-Droid is good alternative.

Agree on the Xbox controller. I even bought an adapter to use the Xbox360 controller on my PS3 :D

Tbh I love Steam, but I think it's nice with a little competition. Definitely checking this out

We've been playing Walkabout Minigolf on the Quest 3 which is fun. We take turns and play 4 holes each in a row, and during play we discuss how to approach different obstacles and where to search for hidden balls. Obviously casting to the TV while playing.

I played and finished Dredge. It's a fishing horror game, but a surprisingly relaxing experience! Very recommended. You go out with your boat in search of that rare catch. But at night you have to be careful of going crazy. Nice story too.

Not the person you asked but it's similar for me. I've used different solutions along the way, but now I'm running Jellyfin, which is great!

Don't know about this case obviously, but Microsoft do have some games on Steam since before

I'm going to guess that humans have killed far more robots. So the robots have some catch up to do.
