Sway on Arch master race?
I would have, but my first minimum wage-type job was after high school. I didn't make enough to pay into CPP, but I don't know if that's a universal truth for younger workers or just because I didn't work more than 10 hours a week.
Also fun fact, going back go my original comment about wage: Saskatchewan's October increase to its general minimum wage won't catch up to Ontario's current student wage. Things are cheaper here, yes, but things aren't (much if any) cheaper in Saskatoon or Regina than in London.
Yep, at least in Canada "pavement" is either a sealed asphalt road surface, or the walking path in a garden or public park. Never the footpath on the side of a road, that's a sidewalk or footpath.
A more common term for them here is "brodozer". A portmanteau of "bro" and "bulldozer".
Well that's pretty inexcusable then.
I'd almost have to one-off a few custom pcbs and laser cut everything myself.
Another Infinity Ergodox run needs to happen.
OS/2 was great in its time. I'd very much like to see it open sourced, even though IBM has repeatedly refused.
The Ranger in the 80s and 90s was a perfectly reasonable size. The new ones are gigantic next to them, but they're still smaller than almost anything available in the North American market.
Ironically, if a job's workload starts to require fewer people, it's often harder for any individual to step away. In the past, there were more people working a plot of land, so there was more ability to cover for people stepping away. Now with only one person doing all the work, that person can't take time off or the whole thing collapses.
Hm, this Saskatchewanian was under the impression it was your whole province. Too bad.
So do at least two different kinds of dollars.
I'm on Ubuntu because work too. I really hope nobody gets the idea to do really silly things like enforce Gnome or something. Wouldn't put it past them.
