Their website seems innocuous, though I didn’t scan through the entire site. I expected to find a gun range, but didn’t.

Remind me never to be a newspaper columnist, at the mercy of cringey copy editors’ dumb-ass headlines.

In the first dot-com bubble burst and in the Great Recession, many quit the business and moved to cheaper locales around the country. Given that COVID-19 has made remote work more acceptable, in some ways it’s now easier to lower your C.O.L. while staying in the business. But it also means you’re competing with others who can also afford to work for less because they also live in cheaper locales.

Thank you for articulating the cloud of pre-verbal thoughts in my head.

Last I heard, which was years ago now, they digitally scan/photograph every single envelope, and I assume they keep them all, so they’ve had the capability to do this for a long time.

People don’t like the message, and thanks to two sting operations, they effortlessly shoot the messenger and dismiss the message.

This link is apparently useless unless one installs the Telegram app, which I’m not doing.

It takes some real naïveté or bottom-of-the-barrel scraping to be associated with Helga Zepp-LaRouche. I gotta believe there are better, less compromised voices than Ritter’s to promote.

fucking liberals The Crisis of Democracy

Al Smith once remarked that “the only cure for the evils of democracy is more democracy.” Our analysis suggests that applying that cure at the present time could well be adding fuel to the flames. Instead, some of the problems of the governance in the United States today stem from an excess of democracy -- an ”excess of democracy” in much the same sense in which David Donald used the term to refer to the consequences of the Jacksonian revolution which helped to precipitate the Civil War. Needed instead is a greater degree of moderation in democracy.

I worked at $BigTechCompany at the start of the Ukraine invasion. They held a company-wide video conferencing meeting so war criminal Condi Rice could personally tell us how to think about the new proxy war.

We found .worlders to be the most fashy posters on lemmygrad.ml, so I can’t say I find their projecting fascism onto us all that surprising, and I can’t say we’ll be missing them.
