I get those very frequently the day before a popular show airs.

I wish there was a setting in sonarr to only grab released episodes (like radarr has) bit it seems like blocking extensions is the way to go.

I believe it’s very important that these executions are observed. If the state gets to operate with impunity and no witnesses, many of these states have shown they don’t have what it takes to act ethically with regards to the death penalty.

That's a really good point. I came into the comments with the same opinion as OP that allowing people (especially victims) to witness executions is kind of fucked up, but you're 100% correct.

I mean, it tracks with their view of the Ukraine situation as well.

It also tracks with the general conservative mindset that the "in group" is protected by laws, but not beholden to them; while the "out group" is beholden to laws, but not protected by them.

Which all tracks with having the mindset of a toddler, free of any shred of empathy, where, until proven otherwise every other person in existence is by default just an NPC without agency or self-determination.

Same here! They definitely put a fair amount of deliberate work into that aesthetic, and I'd love to see how they decorated and furnished some of those rooms.

For me anyways, it's less "what was I doing?" and more "how do I not be an incompetent combat derp?"

I recently fired up God of War after a few months on a different game and promptly got slaughtered for the next 90 minutes straight until I could re-learn all the combos, special abilities, and enemy attack patterns.

Better a damaged roof still attached to the house than a roof strewn a mile and a half downwind.

Sorry, the fact you're being downvoted for this is kinda funny.

As a generally left-leaning person, lemmy absolutely has a leftist demographic, and most politics-related threads are full of upvoted low effort hot takes, while relevant but unpopular opinions tend to get downvoted.

But, then again social media is gonna social media...

Dude's here talking about how much he hates the idea of a meme, on a meme sub.

I don't get it and I'm also very confused by this chart.

Does that mean I actually get it?

Shit...

Warning to past me: do not read this chart while stoned.

I had the same experience when trying to buy my brother (2 states away) a bottle of whiskey for his birthday. Rather than just hiring a delivery service or paying the driver a fair pre established rate, we are being forced to guess in advance how much of a "tip" (bribe) is necessary to ensure the order gets delivered in a timely and professional manner.
