I think out of those, splendor duel is the best one. We play it a lot for a quick session. While Azul is fine and easy to learn, it is kinda heavy on math if you want to be good.

We love Clank! After dominion, our first modern euro (not counting settlers of catan) we got Clank and loved it. The majority of games we play are only my gf and I and while clank does work as a 2-player, its much better with 3 or more. Thus, it does not see the table often as other games.

However, we got Clank Catacombs soon as it came out and loved it. Works better as a two player too, because the routes are not so predictable. We had some games with super easy dungeon escape routes and others where almost everyone died trying to escape. I love that aspect of the game.

There are also a lot of cards that make +clank and this makes playing much more dangerous. I like that since dying in original clank was rather rare. Dying below the green line happened maybe once or twice in al the games we played of the original in 5 years.

Catacombs is borrowing some aspects of legacy and I think it really works well.

Thanks for the explanation. So these Kensington locks are super expensive? How does your desgin improve upon it?

For me this is the Harbinger card from Dominion 2nd Edition. We played it not strictly following the from top to bottom. So you could look through your discard and then immediately draw it with the same card. It was super broken.

Or playing Milita but you always have to discard 2 cards, even if you are already at 3 or less. It was supid.

I really enjoy it. Extremely solid gameplay and I like the theme, too :)

hmmm... never though of it like that. Thanks a lot for the write up. The game is rather complex, this might be very difficult to do but I will tinker around a bit. It makes it also a big more rigid when it comes to changing some aspect of the game but could really help in getting the economy just right. I need someone to do my job during the day so I can work on this :D

I am a capable python programmer but would not know where to start with this. Any ideas?

I have a Celestron C71256 10 x 50 and if the night is dark Andromeda is visible like a big smudge in the sky. I like to use the Great Square of Pegasus to find it. In fact Andromeda lies kinda smack in the middle between Perseus and Pegasus

This is a board game community;)

In principle a good idea. We actually own it. Its not really an adventure game and I think as a Coop deckbuilder, its not that great. Its OK but its not a good game in our opinion. We have it because we like Harry Potter and the box looks nice in our collection. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I suggest Virus! https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/180020/virus

Its a fun little game, easy to play but enjoyable and can easily be played with more than 6, too (we have done 8)

We all know that a proper knife is dead useful, especially back in the day. Coins were not really invented yet so these people used knifes as their coins.

Sure, the best way to learn is someone explaining the game to you live, but thats not always available.

What do you do? Read the manual, watch videos or something else? Any specific creator to recommend?

Never got deep into risk but this might be an interesting addition if you do not have all day to play anymore.
