I am seeing many people mentioning Babel, I should probably take a look, but I still have his Poppy War series, and haven't even started it.
That's nice to know about Incryptid, it's on my wishlist, but I think I would read Rivers of London series first, I have already got the first two books, will start after reading some smaller series first.
I have also gotten pretty interested in Alex Verus, specially because it's an actually finished series, but unfortunately couldn't find the starting books at my local bookstore, so would have to order them. Will get to it once I have reduced my backlog a bit.
Something is Killing the Children, and The Nice on the Lake both sound great, I'll see if they have any omnibus editions coming out.
I had only read upto Death Masks before, though I don't really remember anything that happened in this book. Excited to see how the books develop.
Yeah, there are two Omnibus for Chanur, first one The Chanur Saga has book 1-3, and Chanur's Endgame has last two, 4-5. Will probably just order both of them.
That sounds fascinating. For new topics, I like the approach of first reading a general book which covers vast areas of the topic, and then getting book which covers the area you are interested in, in more detail. Adding it to my wish list!
Thanks for the detailed reply!
Ahan, thanks for the info!
It's just a list, without mentioning anything about any novels...
Any recommendations from that list? Something closer to Lovecraftian horror.
Haha, I thought maybe it's some lesser known book by Gibson. 😀
You've got nice instance! Already subscribed to few communities. Thanks for all your efforts!
Nice list of books! Which translation of Metamorphoses are you reading?
As for The Black Echo, why are all crime series so long? PDFuego mentioned J. D. Robb's in Death series in this thread below, and it's also 30+ books. Well, the good thing is, if you end up liking the books, you don't have to wait for the next one, but they just keep going.
Just looked up Siddhartha Mukherjee, his works looks interesting. Which ones did you order?
Interesting read. I have never heard of Blumoose or any of the books mentioned in the article, but going to take a loot at them. Any recommendation?
Thanks for the info!
Ah, okay. Thanks for the info!
I have read about a quarter of Discworld novels, wanted to read them all in released order, but couldn't find many books. I plan to start the re-read again once I have found some of the remaining books.
Well, the pacing becomes even slower, and there are books where nothing happens. Still, it's my favourite series. So, keep reading, and maybe pace yourself so you don't get burned out.
