I don't think the giants really know all that much. The one reading the Harley text right now is Robin, but for the giants they said it was archaic which is why everyone has a different interpretation of Nika. They might know a little more about the Void Century because of their longer lifespans although they're a relatively isolated country too so there's not really many people to tell.

Hard to say if whatever Imu is using is an ancient weapon or something else. It seemed like earlier in the arc is was the Motherflame/Motherframe but now I'm not sure. Maybe stolen from the ancient kingdom?
