Basically, as far as I read, different kinds of transformers serve different kinds of purposes:

• A Decoder-only is used for generative word output (auto-completion), when the model receives an input prompt and outputs generated words based on it.

• An Encoder-only is used for things such as classification and sentiment analysis, when the model receives an input text and outputs a classification vector.

• An Encoder-Decoder is used for translating texts from one language to other, because it firstly encodes (hence, it classifies) then decodes (hence, it generates words).

How LLMs can translate and can kinda of "analyze the sentiment" of a given text, I'm not really sure (possibly the training data allows is so huge that decoders can achieve the encoding function) but the "basic" generation of words is a decoder thing.

Not just teenagers (Alpha generation), but also GenZ and part of Millennials. I'm personally a Zennial (microgeneration between both GenZ and Millennials) and I feel the same as described in your comment: things are going worse everyday, most of the older generations (Gen X and Boomers) seems deadpanned about climate change, wars, economic crisis, and I'd also add broken dreams (lots of plans were destroyed because of things such as COVID pandemics, for example). It's depressing to know that living will be worse and worse as the time passes.

Websites from alternative networks such as Onion, Freenet, I2P and GNUnet, where speed and privacy are a must-have. Onion webchats, for example, uses neverending-loading with iframes/HTML frames (and another frame/iframe with a standard HTML form), so to not depend on JS.

It became difficult as Web technologies grown complexier, such as implementing native CPU instructions through WASM, bluetooth through Web Bluetooth, 3D graphics through WebGL, NFC, motion sensors, serial ports, and so on. Nowadays, it's simply too hard to maintain a browser engine, because many of the former alternatives were abandoned and became deprecated.

They can't without the given permission from the browser to do so. While they can indeed track the mouse, when they try to access mobile motion sensors (I'm considering a CAPTCHA inside a webpage being accessed through a mobile browser such as Firefox mobile or Chrome for Android), they need to use an HTML5 API that, in turn, will ask the user for permission, something like "This site wants to use sensor motion data. Allow or block?"
