You can always have your own universe within the fediverse.

I like seeing what other people have done to get reprimanded. It's kind of funny to me, and I love the transparency.

So glad this platform isn't built around obscuring as much as possible from users to drive up 'engagement.' Just goes to show, we get better products when people aren't maximizing profit.

Lol, this funny trend of having a stupid ass homepage that just links to an app store.

"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got."

Usually comes to mind when people are waiting around for others to solve their problems for them.

"When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said 'Let us pray.' We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land."

Gotta keep in mind this is a ban on 'state devices and networks.'

If you're using your own phone with your service, you should be fine.

Don't know why people are trying to use TikTok on government devices, anyways. Lazy bastards.

Dang, that's really sad.

Imagine going out of your way to do something like this. Like, build a house or something bro.

Rejoice, subsistence farmers of Africa.

This is what your overlords are spending their money on.

Yep. Israel is becoming more radicalized by the minute.

This is the end result of a nation founded on religious nationalism. It's run by right-wing nutjobs who just want to eradicate the people of Palestine.

It's disgusting. I have no sympathy of Zionists or any other religious nationalists. Nobody deserves to be anywhere based on their religion.

I don't really think that's the answer. We should be compensating these people accordingly for what they provide for us.

There's no reason they shouldn't have thriving economies other than greed.

No, we shouldn't have to pay higher prices. The people at the top should be making less profit.

Unfortunately, in places like Africa, there are just fewer people with an egregious amount of wealth. Even if we paid higher prices or the people at the top made less money, most of what is being made is being siphoned off by those exploiting the workers.

Yep. Just look at the bakery section of Walmart. Most of that gets thrown away, but it's more profitable to charge high prices and sell very little than to sell a lot at a lower price.

This is what we get for putting wealth on a pedestal and breeding for greed.

Why is everyone here afraid to name the companies?

Unless you're sharing something that only you would know and the company is aware that you're the only one who knows it, there's no way they can identify you.

Something tells me the people posting here who had "NDAs" didn't actually have any sort of a high level clearance to important information.
