I’ve had a Kindle Paperwhite in the past and now I have a Kobo Clara 2E (that’s the BW one).

I prefer the Clara because:

• it is not an Amazon product, and I even bought it at a local retailer
• it works with epub files for books — even if Kobos have their own kepub file extension, calibre has plugins that deal with that
• setting up calibre-web on my home server and having the Clara connect to it was very simple

They both have water resistance and warm light. The Paperwhite’s screen is a bit bigger, but the difference is not monumental.

In the end, they are similar enough both in terms of specs and price that depending on your use case you will be fine with either one, but if anything I mentioned above is an important factor to you then I hope this was helpful :)

Zotero 7 (the latest main version) broke compatibility with Zotfile, but there are plugins around that are either forks of the version that ran on Zotero 6 or reimplementations of Zotfile’s features.

Flash modding iPods is a cool use case for larger-capacity SD cards. However, the limiting factors seem to be the database file for the songs on the device and the RAM available.

At a certain point you get diminishing returns on the card capacity as you couldn’t fill up the card with songs and have them all be indexed without the iPod crashing. In these situations, one can be fine staying at 128 or 256 GB.

It’s their Magic Mouse. You can’t use it while it’s charging (since its port is on the bottom) and it also has questionable ergonomics since it’s very flat and thin (but most mice also have questionable ergonomics as well so there’s that)

And the story is only one of many great things! The game art is gorgeous and the soundtrack is full of bangers that serve their purpose well to complement the story.

I do it when I’m asked, and sometimes even ask people to say hi/send a hug if I’m with someone and they’re talking to a mutual friend or family member on the phone.
