I assumed this was a cheat sheet with the dating profile of someone they were meeting from online dating, but judging by the comments i misinterpreted. Why would someone need a cheat shret with their own name and not know what their own job is?

Well that just doesnt make sense, theres only been a couple times ive accidentally put metal in a microwave, but i knew it immediately when i did. I wonder if theyve made changes to the way they function.

Ive had multiple situations on websites or in games where i accidentally switched the language to like- japanese or something and then had to fumble around trying to switch it back. On websites at least you can translate to find the right option but i recently installed a game on my steamdeck and the input was all screwed up, and while trying to fix it i accidentally switched the language and then navigated away from the menu. Trying to get back to the right setting with broken input and not understanding anything wasnt fun.

Lmao what makes you think i didnt understand the joke? We're talking about units of measurement. And yeah i dont need an excuse to say America Bad. It is bro, have you been paying attention?

Edit* my comment was meant to be a reply to another comment about the metric system, not top level. Not sure how that happened aince i clicked reply right from my inbox. Stick by what i said about america

Thats literally exactly what it is. They aren't derived from the metric system like all units in the system, theyre a specialized edge case where a conversion was specifically written in because america sucks. There are no other conversions in the metric system, units are derived from constants based on a set of specific rules that the pound and yard do not adhere to.

No the character just confirms that an equivalent age of 15 is too young. 21 is just the baseline age they use to do the calculation, because it lines up with 100 years in elf years. But the bartender wouldnt have to do the second part of the calculation at all if the drinking age is 21. It could easily be 16 or 17 and the elf would still be too young.
