Absolutely. Dentists too. If you were a sadist and wanted a job with the most potential for causing pain, medical professions would be high on the list.

Definitely not true in all of Europe. We pay in the Netherlands. In fact, I decided to go to school here since I never got to in the US, and found out I can't even take out a student loan because I'm over 35.
Don't even get me started on the STAP budget!
DS9 is my favorite by far. But what I really like about trek is the variety of shows/mediums there are. We've got long arcs and one-off's, comedies and dramas, diplomacy, action, fighting... And if you get tired of watching there are even books!
I feel like ~1 in 3 people being selfish assholes kind of checks out, though. It's a trend I really noticed during Covid.
