Here's the thing - most of the people who don't return their shopping carts don't even know that this is a test. If they did, their behavior would change. If you know about the test, it fundamentally voids the test. And that is what makes it valid. If there is no pressure, what do they do?

I think the answer is, if you don't get caught, it is legal

This is absolutely not a replacement for the tab group experience Chrome and Edge offer

You missed the memo. Children are too expensive, so now pets are the new children, and plants are the new pets. Goldfish are the new plants.

Kudos to everyone who knows how to use gimp, but for the life of me, I think the interface is a disaster and anyone who thinks it is good for a new user is kidding themselves

This comic is literally the reason I continue using Lemmy. 100% the best content on the platform

Nah but this is all Lemmy is at this point. That sucks. We need more than this.

It's ok that this has a place here. But we need more than this.

Want some hard truths? Blinders off, reddit is still a much better place for content than Lemmy.

Honestly I'm getting tired of it.

Edit - I feel the need to say that there is actually one consistent thing on Lemmy that is fantastic - rpgmemes, specifically the ongoing series about a goblin high priestess playing dnd.

Ah, by argue I meant something along the lines of "have an upset and angry discussion." I disagree with some of the premise of what he said though, so I am going to push back on that.

All of these comments are completely off the rails. He informed us about one of the largest violations of privacy in the history of mankind. For that, he had to go on the run. He ended up in Russia, but not by choice.

If he wants to retire there and just keep his mouth shut, he should have our fucking blessing. The one thing he did was bigger than anything we could ever hope to accomplish lol.
