Empathy is such a foreign concept?

The BMTH thing to me is hilarious. Their first popular single was “Pray for Plagues”, where Oli is asking God to burn this world to the ground, for fucks sake. I guess those fans discovered them post-deathcore and mostly know their singles without reading the lyrics too much, or at all? I genuinely don’t know how else they’d get this idea it’s a Christian friendly band lol

Man, you’re spot on with that last phrase, at least, for me. All I want is a MR headset comfortable enough to wear all day, and to be able to manage virtual windows and/or monitors comfortably in front of me. The rest I genuinely don’t care about. I dream of the day I can replace my big monitor (or multi-monitor setup) with a lightweight pair of fancy goggles that would give me all the monitor real estate I would ever want.

Papyrus or bust

The plastic feels a bit like a heavy duty ziplock bag, or piping bag material, made as a tube (so strong shape, structurally) then flat sealed on both ends. Quite thick so not that easy to puncture by accident. Once in a while there’s one that leaks but they get removed at the grocery store by stockers, mostly. It’s easy to spot, it just looks flat and at worst (if the hole is on the bottom), there’s a liter and some of milk all over in their fridge.

It’s the last sentence of the article - 9.8/10. In this case it’s probably called critical because of the potential consequences of the exploit being a full machine takeover, not the likeliness of the exploit being used.

I have a feeling you’re talking about the TTY. You can’t use the mouse cause there’s no graphical interface to begin with. You’re in “pure” console mode. It’s probably why fonts look weird too. It’s probably just not running at your monitor’s native resolution.

As other people said though, it’s pretty much expected. Servers are more or less expected to run “headless”. You’d typically SSH in rather than plug a monitor directly in the machine.

I'm curious. What do you prefer, some larger res with resolution scaling? How's the scaling situation on DEs/WMs nowadays? Last I tried it, it was pretty abysmal. Admittedly it was years ago, but it used to be that mixed scaling wasn't possible, so if my laptop was higher DPI and needed scaling, I'd need to run any external monitor with display scaling as well. I've avoided high DPI/display scaling on purpose for a while at this point because of it, and tend to prioritize usable pixel real estate.

First two sentences of that readme:

Valetudo is a cloud replacement for vacuum robots enabling local-only operation. It is not a custom firmware.
