Yes, the idiotic fallacy of giving greater weight to the opinion of an authority at the subject being discussed. It is no match to the logical chad move of giving weight to the opinion of a random internet commentator who claims something is nonsense without giving any reason or explanation why.
There's also been huge waves of spam account attacks on Mastodon recently.
"Weather chaos" is one hell of a euphemism.
Innocent human lives. (Which the Jsraeli government is of course also carelessly discarding. But that's why I think Sanders' position is the most reasonable. We should definitely demand Israel greatly reduce the military force it's exerting, but a total ceasefire might not be entirely realistic)
So what?
Women love him, fish fear him, fish women have conflicting feelings.
you can't just blame other countries problems on us
You can, if they happened to be caused by us. Which they are. From propping up authoritarian leaders for cheap resources to being main contributers to the climate crisis
Also how is Germany not deporting undesireable people already? There are processes for this in play already. What part of it exactly do you think is lacking? Most people who are for more deportations have no idea how the process works, what the criteria or problems with it are at all. All they know is that they want more. Doesn't matter if it actually solves any problems or not.
(Turns out you can't really deport more people faster without undermining basic principles of the rule of law or because the states to deport to are not willing to cooperate in the first place (and why would they?))
Focusing on unified branding basically misses the entire point of the fediverse.
Efficiency of calorie acquisition is not the same as sustainability though. Culling an overpopulation of deer that keeps a forest from developing or an invasive species that is wreaking havoc on an ecosystem can both be a net positive on the ecosystem and in terms of sequestering carbon. Meanwhile growing crops on former rainforest land is a clear net negative.
Those are edge cases though of course and with your average store selection, going with plant-based will just about always be more sustainable.
Brave Wilderness made a video about the Panda Ant, which apparently means they were some of the first people to gather high-res video footage of it:
Why do people consider bigger age gaps a problem? Because there's often a difference in maturity and experience that makes it harder to communicate, have the same goals and often puts the younger party at risk of being taken advantage of.
So if you think that the thing the age gap is a stand in for, a gap in maturity, doesn't apply, there's also no reason to get hung up on the number and mistake the map for the territory.
I think it's good that you're questioning yourself though and you should probably keep being a bit cautious about the situation and reevaluating yourself until you can be certain you two are on the same level.
Which is at least less than all the other big platforms are taking.
