If you eat just one bite you'll never have to eat again for the rest of your life!

I think Outer Wilds is the most unique and fantastic way to tell a story I've ever experienced. Truly open in a way I've not seen before or since.

With the banger of a soundtrack too, I just can't bring myself to rate other games higher than it; even if I enjoy them more, Outer Wilds is probably the best game I've ever played.

Slay the Spire probably makes the list as it's inspired countless tweaks on its incredibly balanced deck building experience

I live in Europe, but was an expert taste panelist at New Belgium Brewing in the US when I lived there.

Lefthand Milk Stout Nitro is a great beer.

There's a lot of good beer all over the world (okay, much of it anyway). Quality has a LOT more to do with freshness, cleanliness, and lack of dissolved oxygen in the beer. You can also find bad beer most anywhere. Don't let someone making silly blanket statement get ya down.

I will just go ahead and contradict myself by making a blanket statement that the low end of food is just better in most of the EU cuz of how much stricter the rules are. From McDonald's to the grocery store, you kinda can't get "terrible" food.

"it's current not voltage that kills you"

High voltage: "Por que no los dos?"

Our boss was like "I'm sure he's mad but he'll cool off" for way too long lol

We also worked some insane hours across many locations so it wasn't abnormal to not see your office mates for weeks at a time

Man, my parents were cool as shit about this. And I think it had really good consequences for me later on, like in college.

Sex was positively viewed, but strict about protection (rightly so), and drugs were described as a spectrum with weed being very low, and the scary drugs (heroine) being very scary. They were honest about wanting me to wait for drugs and booze till I was more adult, but let me have a few parties with friends where everyone crashed at their house. It was super fun, and very badass feeling. I got to college and was like .... Meh? On partying.

Definitely not the only way to go about it, but the honesty helped me weigh consequences of it all a bit better, I think.

Obviously a good joke, and of course obligatory cal/kcal discrepancy here. This just seems like a good place to put this info:

Calories on labels are for calories absorbed, not for calories in the food (same with the 4/9/4 rule). So it'd be much less for gasoline, if it were possible to label with nutritional info.

I have about a hundred hours in it. Here's some scattered thoughts:

–The devs clearly care a lot and it's a labor of love. They communicate well, provide updates, listen to feedback, engage with the community. They're lovely.

–the game has a fun series of mechanics, good visuals, good music, fun vibes. It's a bit.... Sandboxy, towards later in most runs. I don't know what to do with my settlement come cycle 12-15 (cycle is 12-20 days or so). I wish there was a little more of a goal for it, like scenarios

–good mod support and map making. People have made some dope maps for it

I'm gonna continue to revisit it as campaign/scenarios evolve, as mechanics are added, and as I want to get my beaver vibe on

I don't understand how those world views can identify and (you didn't say this, so hopefully not) vote conservative in US these days

I'm really hopeful for backwards compatibility with digital and physical switch titles
