@MapleEngineer Interesting that there is a Wikipedia article on it. I have a close relative who was an ER nurse in a deep red state when the pandemic hit. Lots of deniers, refused to mask up, infected all of the caregivers who were overwhelmed with the sick and the dead. They didn’t have enough beds or morgue space. So I have zero sympathy for people who put others at risk. There are a million dead, ironically many of them Trump voters. I give zero fucks for the antivaxers.

@fivezero Holy shit that is one top heavy company. No wonder they haven't made a profit. I'm done with f u/spez but it will be entertaining to watch him continue to devalue the company. Fidelity downgraded the value and who knows what the Chinese investor Tencen thinks. It will be delicious to watch spez screw up his IPO. Desperation has gripped spez and its getting worse.
@cacheson This exactly. It’s why I didn’t join there and wound up here instead. Communism is a misnomer at this point - all that is left is the authoritarian/totalitarian/Putinistas. Tankies and Putinistas are the same to me. Trumpists are the same to me. The only time I’m associating with those people is across from them at their next US insurrection.
@swnt Spez will just keep doing what he's doing because he doesn't know how to be different. Who knows what new counterproductive idea he'll force on the people there. Fidelity just reduced the valuation of the company - again. At some point between Fidelity and Tencen the investors may throw his ass out, which would be fitting. Eventually happens to people with Hubris like his.

@vaprz Sorry this happened to you. I'm not surprised. Mods are going to be thrown over the side at an accelerating rate IMO. The protest is indeed hurting F u/spez otherwise he wouldn't have to do this. My opinion is that he will do whatever it takes to try to get his numbers back up and his ability to sell Reddit and buy his island depends on it.

@Maajmaaj I think you're right. Stay sober though. check out reddit r/liberalgunowners there is a huge amount of information for those thinking about becoming armed.
