Nah Terraria Elseworld (otherworld?) fell through. It was going to be a spin-off/sequel before they cancelled it and later announced Terraria 2. T2 is still in development I believe (and pray).

Eh stylized assets aren't necessarily easier or less time consuming than PBR. It's not difficult to make a game look realistic these days at least to a reasonable amount of scrutiny. Also this is a large developer with a lot of funding so EA isn't going to cut corners in the art department with one of their flagship IPs. You also can't just reallocate artists to work on mechanics, these are entirely different departments and the process of hiring/firing workers dynamically doesn't gel well with a production pipeline.

The first one was good, the second is also pretty good. The third has some moments but they pretty quickly nosedived in budget and quality. I don't think a single one of the other genres was worth even revisiting out of morbid curiosity.

Nah the Salarians neutered the Krogans. They uplifted the Krogan to beat back the Rachni only to turn on them afterwards. Whether or not the Krogan were expansive or betrayed is a "history written by the victor" scenario but what the Salarians did was straight genocide. The Batarians are assholes (especially that one piece of shit bartender in Afterlife) but they're not responsible for what happened to the Krogan.
