The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

would using lockdown mimic the BFU state? or does it not matter once you actually unlock the first time?

No, this dude was not a bully. He's a sociopath (maybe psychopath) who has had always had the means to overcome his antisocial disorder.

You can see it in his responses, he feigns emotion. He acts in a way that he believes others perceive as confidence or authority but it just "feels" wrong as the other. Dead facial expressions followed by forced pauses for fake introspection which extremely animated facial expressions, then right back to dead face.

I just saw a person in a suit, then read the "mansplaining" comment, then went back and saw the posters name.

It feels so forced or I am just oblivious. I thought the response was an asshole being an "acktuallllllly" response.

Mercenaries. We have a term for this already and it's Mercenary. Not a private contractor for a security company. Mercenary.

I always heard this "nothing to hide, nothing to fear" attitude/saying attributed to goebbels and went to go find the source.

I fell down the research well and found it's actually from an author I've read but evidently not enough of his work: Upton Sinclair.

The source is The Profits of Religion and "Sinclair attacks institutionalized religion as a 'source of income to parasites, and the natural ally of every form of oppression and exploitation.'"

Seems sadly relevant to today.
