By popular demand the visual cuisine on tankietube for tonight is Hudson Hawk, a movie with a chaotic production about a thief leaving prison and promptly being forced to steal art. Bruce Willis has a writing credit for it so let's give it a whirl.

For Tuesday slop night the visual cuisine is the last episode of Mlaatr season 1 and the first 2 episodes of Sopranos season 2, a show about the Italian mob in New Jersey. Season 1 ended with Tony's mother instigating an assassination attempt on her own son with the help of Uncle Junior. This was the result of Livia learning about Tony seeing a therapist, seeing her son in a severely depressed state, and Tony mocking Junior for performing oral sex on a woman.

We delved into Tony's childhood and psyche thanks to multiple sessions with Dr Melfi: Tony has a fascination with ducks that landed in his pool that probably represent his family and his fear of losing them due to his life in organized crime; Tony had a very poor childhood with abusive and neglectful parents - while he ends up essentially being forced to admit his mother is horrible at the end of season 1, he is much more hesitant to view his father in a similar light despite admitting that his father's favorite "child developmental tool" was the belt.

Both of Tony's children are now aware of his life in organized crime to an extent, with Meadow directly asking him on a road trip and AJ coming to a realization after a kid in a schoolyard fight backs down due to his father's line of work in waste management (with some help from his older sister, too). Carmella had multiple moments of disgust with Tony due to his constant cheating and just general poor behavior.

After that we will continue our adventures into the land of Dragonballs with the movie DragonballZ: Dead Zone, followed by a few more of episodes of The Nanny season 1, the ultimate sitcom.

For this Tuesday night the visual cuisine is more Mlaatr and The Nanny starring Fran Drescher. My Life as a Teenage Robot is a legendary anime made by Rob Renzetti about a teenaged robot superhero, her friends, and her attempts at a normal human life in the face of multiple planetary threats. Mlaatr has a prominent character voiced by Eartha Kitt and uses the art deco style, reminiscent of the '20s. Each episode is actually split into two smaller episodes so we are actually getting four :bko-joy:

The Nanny is a sitcom about Fran Fine being hired as a nanny by a Broadway play producer and subsequently brightening their lives. Goofs, gaffs, and gabagools ensue as their two worlds collide. We are going to actually watch the first few episodes tonight instead of a few random ones :sailor-oops:

Mlaatr:

  • Depictions of bugs
  • The protagonist prefers a different name to the one given to her by her mom in the first episode, however both are used throughout the show by different characters. Her given name is generally used in a more formal manner by authority figures and her preferred one more casually by her peers. She responds to both and after the first episode generally seems to not be bothered by it.
  • Jokes about weight
  • Explosions
  • Cartoon violence, primarily involving robots and alien monsters.
  • The protagonist regularly loses limbs but she is a robot
  • The protagonist practically dies or experiences a near death experience in one episode.

Unlike anime from Japan, there isn't really anything excessively grotesque nor is there a theme of :tony-disappointed2: moments.

For Tuesday slop night the visual cuisine is the season 1 finale of the Sopranos and Mlaatr episodes 3 & 4. Junior's assassination attempt on a severely depressed Tony - instigated in part by Livia - has failed and left Tony eager to get revenge on whoever orchestrated the "carjacking," whatever happened there.

In the world of Mlaatr, Jenny made friends with her neighbors and attended her first day of highschool.

Windows update blocker to block updates until you need one and update show/hide if there's something specific you need or want. You can also block the forced win11 update in group policy.

There is a new community tool to manually download updates which I haven't tried but looks promising.

Day 1 is earlier than day four, ‘punk’

You’re just a poseur ass that wants to defend the toxic hellhole that site became because people like you turned it into that

I got ganged up on multiple times until I just stopped showing up. Came back once, made a post and was immediately accused of being an interloper of some type, despite creating my account on the site the first day it was opened after we floated from Reddit to discord to the site.

Defend it all you want, the place turned into a shithole.

New site taglines, this user is absolutely just telling on themselves lol

Oh and since it's not Fallout the one thing that makes up for Bethesda's terrible shooting the VATS system isn't here, so you just have Bethesda's terrible shooting with no redeeming features.
