OR this is a Lemmyshitpost moment because we are all taking part in making this guy and his well-timed tweet go viral.

it'll go along and do it for a second, but then it'll quickly wipe its message. That's interesting because it suggests that the underlying model isn't the same as OpenAI's

Obviously I can't speak to Bing's claim on GPT4, but the behavior you saw does not necessarily have to do with the model. There are many ways the "chatbots" on the same model could behave differently, either by defining those behaviors programmatically or via context and prompts.

The tech is pretty interesting but the business is sus...It's kind of like selling fake admissions to a club and calling that a startup.

It's a fun game, but completely missed the tone of the first two games. If you consider it a shooter with Dead Space mechanics and gameplay then it's just a lot of fun, not a serious Dead Space game.

He can't be a "scapegoat" if he is the CEO. The buck stops with him, there is literally no one else left up the chain who can be responsible. It's his job.

This is such a bad take. By the same logic, the time you spend scrolling through Lemmy would have been better spent serving the homeless in the soup kitchen or sweeping the streets clean. But yet here you are. Why?

Let's face it, the "IAP money" you referred to has always been there, Sync dev found a way (and has the balls) to monetize his work to a pretty big extent. And only now are you all sour grapes about it. If Lemmy instances are so desperate for money why didn't they make an equally big effort to monetize? On the flip side, if money isn't such a big issue why do you care if Sync is monetizing?

I love Sync but it's definitely smarter to try before you buy.

Specially processed meat, cheese and bread. In the case of fast food these ingredients are basically "hacked" to make us crave more and consume more. These industries have "food scientists" working on exactly that.

Meat, cheese and bread in their more natural form is definitely healthy when consumed in moderation.
