Everyone already knows, we knew this before he ran for president. That's why it doesn't need to be said often.

I think a Steam Deck is a better buy. It's a little more pricy sure, but a lot more powerful and a LOT more games to pick from. And it docks great, I mostly play docked to my TV

Just an FYI. The Legacy Collection was a PS3 title of all MGS games up to 4.

The Master Collection is the one that's crap.

A lot of brands have their own migration, like Samsung and OnePlus. Their apps will auto move over all contacts, files, apps, settings. What brand are you moving to, they might have one?

I don't see why you couldn't use any old QR Code generator and just print the image of it yourself?

It's 497x886 pixels. It's not a large image.

I might put it towards ad removal for Sync for Lemmy, haven't fully decided yet.

I like FOSS apps, but if a closed source app is better I'm going to use it. Oh no Sync has ads! Pay to remove ads and all the Google tracking is gone.

A lot of people came to Lemmy because Spez is a cunt and Lemmy is the closest replacement to Reddit, not because they bum off FOSS.

Also, dude you have an Xbox, that literally is spyware. By your own logic, you should be running DRM free open-source games on a Linux OS that doesn't have any closed-source launchers.

No. As long as people keep using it I think it can grow enough that people can use Lemmy as their primary app. But it'll never become mainstream enough.

We underestimate how technically ignorant the majority of people are, as soon as it hits the point of no official app and which instance to join people give up.

The only way I can see it working is it they prioritised their own official instance, made it default on an 'official' app so it's just as easy as Reddit or Twitter, but in small text allow people to change instance.

Same, I like the idea that I can just upgrade the Mobo+CPU for a cheaper upgrade, then can still use the old mobo+CPU as its own PC.
