My two immediate concerns would be whether it comes with AC and is there an AWD option. Both of those could be deal breakers towards the borders. I guess they're not absolute deal breakers (we bounced around AZ in a '71 Datsun pickup that had about the same specs as this a kid) but they certainly would be huge QOL improvements as options.

I am on both and trying to gradually transition over to here. One thing is to be aware that you can block entire instances here. Once I blocked hexbear and lemmygrad, the quality of my feed improved pretty dramatically.

OS 9 on macOS did me dirty when I tried to delete it for the final time. The OS X operating system folder is named System. And the OS 9 folder is named System Folder.

So I typed rm -rf System and then tried to type the \ character so I could put in the space between the two words. Which is right above the Return key. Guess what I hit instead of \…

I hit control-C almost immediately but it still got through C inside the System folder. Apparently nothing absolutely vital lives in the A-C folders, btw. I was able to even reboot and it all came up normally. Only thing was I couldn’t run any Carbon apps (which was kind of crucial at the time) so I still had to do a reinstall of the OS.

He's talking about some pretty cool bike infrastructure that they're at least introducing in ABQ that is pretty sweet compared to when I grew up there in the 80s though. I remember biking down Lead or Lomas in the mornings with no bike lane at all and rush hour traffic trying to get around me non-stop, lol. I remember I felt slightly safer on Lomas even though it was 50mph+ traffic just because the lanes were really wide.
