Not everyone has a large data plan. I am very aware of how much messaging taxes my data plan: the entirety of my data is already used by it.

He doesn't try anything remotely sexual unless you initiate during his Weave scene, and even then he waits several weeks and does a date first. I don't understand where all of this "Gale is trying to get in my pants" rhetoric comes from online.

What is broken that it needs to be updated to fix? I use it every day and it works fine.

Yeah, I think it would be worth having a … menu on posts in the feed like Slide does. Currently when I see a post with a distressing thumbnail, I have to open the post and see it full size if I want to block the community.

It's very hard to find the resources. The government sites are not SEO optimized, the URLs change, sometimes there's better info on local news websites. People are trying to share these vital resources with one another on social networks that already exist, and are finding that they cannot. In a time of crisis, you can't quickly set up another network on a different platform. Many people don't even know about better platforms.

And this as we're seeing stories from other areas about massive die-offs due to eutrophication. Animal waste is hugely eutrophying to waterways, and this is well-documented. We just never learn.

Because some of these communities are more official than others. For example, I modded /r/simpleliving and made !simpleliving@lemmy.ml, but !simpleliving@lemmy.world also exists. It would be a bit annoying if users were directed to the less-active and less-official community over the one I made just because it happens to be on lemmy.world.
